We are excited to introduce Mrs. Margaret Freeman as our new Special Education Teacher at Amen Always Community Academy!

Mrs. Freeman brings over 10 years of experience serving children and families, with a strong background in special needs support, caregiving, and behavioral health. She has worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with children on the autism spectrum, a special needs caregiver, and in various roles that highlight her dedication, compassion, and strong communication skills.

At AACA, Mrs. Freeman will lead our new “Special Superpowers Class,” inspired by our children’s book James and His Special Superpowers. This class celebrates the unique gifts and abilities of every child while providing the support they need to grow and thrive.

Dionne Hough, Music Teacher

Dionne joins us with more than 20 years of experience in music education, ministry leadership, and curriculum development. She has faithfully served as Minister of Music for Mt. Moriah Baptist Church since 2021, and previously for Sweet Home Baptist Church for over two decades, where she also served as Associate Pastor, Sunday School Superintendent, and Bible Study instructor.

An accomplished pianist, vocalist, and composer, Dionne has led choirs, directed music for worship services and productions, and taught private piano, voice, and music theory to students of all ages. She also has extensive experience tutoring K–12 students in academics and developing educational programs that inspire creativity and excellence.

Dionne holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Composition from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Divinity in Ministry Studies from Columbia International University. She is an ordained minister with a passion for combining faith, education, and the arts to nurture students’ gifts for God’s glory.
